  • @Walkthroughs14 You need CSS as well... any good developer would use styles as they save so much time.

  • WYSIWYG kind of pointless, might as well just use text editors to be more efficient in coding.

  • I should also mention that there are some good open source web authoring apps available such as:

    Quanta Plus (Mac & Linux)

    - and -

    KompoZer (Mac, Windows, & Linux)

  • There is a Notepad application for Mac too btw. It's made by neXtSoft and is free.

    Since TextEdit doesn't allow plaintext editing (as far as I know).

    Of course there's this really great app called Dreamweaver as well. But that's not free... unless you're torrent-savvy. ;-p

    If you can afford it you should buy it though 'cuz it's awesome.

  • This is a great tutorial and is totally true. But the java/c++/c ect.. dont need to be used for server-sided only.
