Worthing is a pleasant place to walk around. But when I went there in July 2009, the sandy beach you see in this video was totally covered by a thick layer of seaweed!

YOU MUST BE JOKEING. i lived in worthing for years, its now just one great nasty old hole, if you want to move there then good luck to you, but consider this'' its at least 20% cheaper to live in eastbourne and the council there cares far more about its residents, im not just saying eastbourne' but anyone thinking of moveing to worthing should seriously consider eastbourne, bognor, chichester or bournmouth, ive lived in all these towns and they are far nicer then worthing.

Eastbourne has a more pleasant seafront - but Worthing has the sandy beach at low tide. Eastbourne is better for walks - you can get straight to the Seven Sisters via paths from the seafront without having to walk through the town itself.

I was walking my dog on this beach, was cold deserted and raining, a twat on a quad bike (beach patrol) came out of nowhere, told me its banned during summer to walk dogs on the beach...even if the whole beach is deserted and its p*****g with rain....he was was the rudest people i met since being here so i figure thats why he can only get a temp job with Worthing Council. Now i never leave my cam at home ! All in all i prefer it to London and if you want alot of fun...Brightons not that far.

It will always be a dump, all you can hear are ambulances taking the old farts off to hospital to die which they do at a rate of knots or smackheads and winos who have overdone it and love to shout and swear at the hospital staff to get attention, DICKHEADS! I lived there for 4 years and it made me ill, with boredom.It's livelier now but only 'cos of the fucking morons and wierdos that have invaded the place, taking drugs 24/7 and getting pissed all over the shop.

Maybe Worthing is not as nice as it used to be. It used to be a pleasant and happy place to live and it still is most of the time, but I think it has been somewhat spoilt by people like cheese293 and marctaff19 who can't speak or otherwise communicate without using foul language.
