http://www.sundancechannel.com/sincitylaw Episodes 1 and 2 of SIN CITY LAW. The case of sibling teenage meth-heads Beau and Monique Maestas who set out to take revenge on a duplicitous drug dealer.
SIN CITY LAW airs Saturdays at 7pm on Sundance Channel.
@globe255 And when a child kills a child? How about when a child is just present when another child kills a child? How old do YOU decide is acceptable for calling them an adult? When they're 18 or 21 like EVERY other situation in this country...or whatever you feel like, maybe 14 15 16 becomes a competent adult if its murder? Its outrageously hypocritical. No real justice can be done with contradictions like this in our society.

@Kristalynnegan I never said she was a monster. i just said to stab a 3 year old in your own family. I am not casting a judgment. I stated my opinion, thanks to free speech. If she did not kill the 3 year old, she held the 9 year old. She stabbed her own brother during the murder. She got the poor children to open the door to give them access to the trailer. So lets not judge her. Let this GOD do the judging. Also yes she will live with regret. Every time she sits in her cell.

@stickyicky420 I had the honor of calling ms. Maestas my girlfriend for a short time while I was incarcerated. She is not the monster everyone has said she is. She is a wonderful person so full of remorse. She did not kill that 3 yr old and she forever lives with the regret of her actions from that night. No one can judge her but God.

Before anyone chooses to judge Monique, I urge you to get to know her and the type of person she is. Monique is a Wonderful woman and a total sweetheart. Mistakes happen and NO ONE knows what really happened, so before you Judge, clean out your own closets!!!

well, it's a bit more complicated than Oggy99 seems to think. It's not entirely clear what Monique did or did not do - the only eye witness to testify was Beau's girlfriend, who participated in nearly everything that night with the Maestas, but who testified for the state and got off scott free - after having supplied the knives at 1:00 am. Hardly an objective witness in my book.

as far as I know, Monique was 16 when she and her brother committed the crime and she must be about 22.
And Beau is still alive and is sitting in a prison at Nevada.
I watched a documentation on this last night.
