@CuddleBunE I was in the 89 earthquake--we stayed put---the embarcardaro building swung safely like a willow tree! But if you were in the marina--that 's when ou wanted to get out--those building were built on sand. so it all depends.

Now Allen, must have intentionally planted some campy movie touches amidst the destruction. ie Matheau, the elevator, bad acting--oh wait if its unintentional its campy--and this movie is, at times, reeks with the fun.

the movie is campy, but this scene is set up very well--we know what is going to happen, but the characters do not--classic cinema set up.
