"we must be smart enough or tough enough to put out the fire in the beginning!"
As applicable to terrorism as it ever was against fascism.

It seems to me that the call for freedom of religion" has morphed into "freedom from religion." the last time I heard controversy about the "under God" part of the pledge of allegiance, it was about being forced to hear it, not being forced to say it.
Similarly, we have "freedom from speech" where speech codes at universities reflect a perceived right against being offended.
It is this aspect of the "attacks on religion" I find worrisome.

Anyone know in a classic WWII movie when a soldier yells at the other soldier in a tank caught on fire, "Jump Joe, JUMP!...I can't, I got no legs!!!!!!!" Who knows the name of that classic WWII movie??...It's either in the 1940's or 1950's

Still on patrol in my dreams.
During the Battle of the Bulge, ANYONE who could fire a rifle was pressed into service. Cooks, Truck drivers, anyone.

Isn't his point that any one who claims one religion or no religion as the only way no different than fascism? The scene is cut, but the agnostic/atheist/doubter joins in. What some people call an attack on religion is often a call for freedom. Resistance to being force~fed under the guise of freedom. How can one force someone to say 'one nation under God'? Read the Constitution. Freedom to believe as one wants. & how is love defined to any one religion?

Do you truly mean an attack on religion or an attack on the ethics and morality which spring from most religion? A point frequently overlooked these days, is that no other country in the history of the world ever gave so freely of her sons, daughters, and resources to free other peoples, than the United States. US leaders aside, the US citizen-soldier's values were to FREE others, not conquer, and that ethic traditional came from a {predominantly] Christian religious value.

Why not just buy it? You Tube is already under pressure from Fox and others to remove ANY and ALL clips of copyrighted movies. When you ask something like that, it adds to claims of copyright violation. Fox blocked one of the 'Patton' clips I had here. I post clips to urge others to BUY a legal copy of the movie-there are plenty of sources of legal movies at low cost. Since Fox's action, I have removed ALL Patton clips, and no longer urge the purchase of Patton.

god created everything. god created hitler. therefore, the chaplain says they must fight against what god has created. consistency is lacking methinks

God Created, but humanity is always given the free choice to corrupt[or not] what is given. God also created Satan, [if you believe in evil], but God did NOT create the corruption of power Satan chose. The CHOICE to build or destroy is given to each individual.
