This video shows an initial test of the MDS (Mobile Dexterous Social) Robot designed
and built in collaboration with the MIT Media Lab's Personal Robots Group, UMASS Amherst's Laboratory for Perceptual Robotics, Xitome Design, and Meka Robotics. It illustrates the robot's expressive range of movement using scripted animations and pre-recorded speech.

  • @Marsell88 but if it doesnt imitate humans...lets open our minds a bit that would mean that robots would be the perfect creation, thus they would see us humans as an imperfection and have no other option but to eliminate it.

  • why does it have to copy humans?! cant u be better predictive, in a sense where you could look a step ahead and not make classical human mistakes... ffs!
