  • I have dyed several times and saw your mixed dyes sitting on the table. Im just curious how you store your dyes and how long do they last as a mix? I know they can be stored in the refridgerator also.

  • @codie8569 i dont store them anywhere i leave them on the table until theyre gone. ive never had any issues with it

  • one last thing bro, how long should I soak t-shirt in soda ash?

and what kind of color you use? I bought one, but They say

I have to boil the dyes and also put shirt into it for one hour.

You just put the dye strait to the shirt, I need that kind

    of dyes.. =)

    waiting for you replying

    Thanks

  • @Leephongsavanh they say you should soak the shirt in soda ash for 15 minutes. but i let it soak for like 5 and its fine. i use procion mx dyes i get them from prochemicalanddye(.)com under the "cotton and other plant fibers" tab. the dye comes in a powder then you have to mix it with water in a squirt bottle. you can watch my video on mixing the dyes on my channel.

  • Hey bro,

Do we have to put sal into the color? somebody told me that

inorder to make color long lasting?? is it true??

    Please answer.

  • @Leephongsavanh i dont put anything into my dyes besides water. i do soak the shirt in soda ash solution though which makes the fabric absorb the dye
