blackpool ballroom is amazing i cant dance but love just to sit and watch and listen to the amazing wurlitzer a really special place

I have never seen the Ballroom so full. Not just the floor but in the balcony's aswell.

The sequence dance is called The Barn Dance. Its a nice party dance and nicer still if its done progressive(changing partners after the clap).

oh yes the ballroom is in use nearly every day mind you its never that busy any more but its also never empty i think its a class place to go

The tower ballroom is still very much in use - every day throughout the summer months and weekends during winter. The music is shared between the mighty wurlitzer and a more modern electronic Wersi organ.
The dance on this video is a sequence dance which explains why all the dancers are dancing the same steps.
Its well worth a visit even if you don't dance, just sit and listen to the wonderful music.
