700 sailors will tell you it is, musto sailors will say it isnt (big surprise there) a lot of musto sailors converted because the 700 has faults (dont ask me check the musto skiff website) and tbh the musto is as quick (i know 700 sailors who are annoyed with the mustos handicap being so slow) i suppose it depends where you're sailing (but i think mustos best =D)

I've been wondering the same, I'm about 70kg and looking to buy one, but I want to have sailed one before that to see if i'm able to handle it (I'm training atm to become a bit more heavy), but it seems like no1 is offering to let me test the boat, not even RS dealers....

rs700 is faster + easier to control, setting spinnaker is also way easier on the rs700

as someone that has sailing both, which do you prefer, the skiff or 700?! i find the skiff fantastic but am unsure whether to trade it for a 700?!
