As the creators stated... They didn't want to be restricted by the limitations of reality. They just wanted it to look cool haha. And that is one of the many things that makes final fantasy... final fantasy. Why make a game resemble reality when the game's world itself isn't real. Much respect to SquareSoft. Square Enix for all you youngins. :)

@mashedup1987 I fucking hate CoD. I actually respect a half second of this film more than I do CoD. I mean that there is no way Sephiroth should not be able to follow Cloud's movement. Unless of course, Cloud is using Haste.
