Also, claiming police brutality on this is ridiculous. The motorcade would not have stopped for you, and you probably would have been run over if you didn't dodge out of the way first. Besides, the police just threw you out of the way and left you there. They didn't beat you, they didn't abuse you, they just got your sorry asses out of the way. that is NOT brutality.

true democracy is rule by the people, having the people being involved in making decisions that matter. that's part of what anarchism is--rule by the people. direct democracy means direct rule by the people, we don't have that in this country and that's what we want.

The PD here in GJ have for a long time been able to act with no accountability. Latinos, poor people, and activists have long known that the police have grudges they settle with force or through the courts.
Recent arrests and firings of two GJPD officers one for beating a woman and another for raping a woman, is just the tip of the iceberg.
Demand citizen oversight and public hearings.
