  • Star should remaster this show and bring it back to DCI... That would be the Apocalypse.

  • just my opinion ...but perhaps BLAST started because of the B.S. judging in DCI!!! Star was completely jipped in 1993! Hey, Cadets were great, but STAR raised the bar...especially in 1993. IMO they transcended DCI and the judges didn't know how to handle the situation. STAR was so unique and freakin clean it came down to TASTE and the judges just rejected STARS' style..boooo!!! that's my opinion.....

  • I still dont understand why they use concert euphoniums and baritones?

  • I have been a die-hard Cavies fan from the 80's. I was at the Bloomington regionals in 93 and saw Star beat the Cavies like they stole something. I was really mad at the time and didn't agree with the results, but the more you watch this show and listen to the music, it becomes very clear how ground-breaking a performance this really was. I wish Star was still around shaking things up. Maybe if they were, they could remind the drum corps world how to kick butt without synthesyzers a

  • @jsskateboarder Madison?????????

  • 4:41 LOL!!!!!!!!!!

  • The word is GYPPED. Learn to spell, guys.

  • If it weren't 2010 I would think that this was a surefire way to get Drum Corps into the mainstream.

  • @spursfan4life It's quite a story to explain but simply put in three words, it sums up pretty well: "Because they could."

  • Saw this in 1993-at DCI they did get jipped -because judges didn't agree that art could be part of the winning DCI performance. hey were aready to leave regardless-they had performers that actually got injured in earlier years from crowd booing and tossing things at them.Change is hard to accept. They were awesome, innovative - and changed DCI. I loved and still love Drum Corp and DCI.Seeing them again this year in the reunion performance-they haven't done corp in 16 years and they were AWESOME!!

  • changed the meaning of performance forever!

  • so why exacty did they do this?
