  • Seriously, why is everyone arguing over who has the highest crime rate? I don't know whether it's occured to you yet but crime is bad and just causes problems so I don't see why you're trying to show off about who has the highest crime rate.. :/

  • @ShallahJupiter7XL yeah fuck Big L, Big Pun fuck man - there's some aaaaamazing lyricists, dead in the middle of little italy little did we know we riddled two middle men who didn't do diddly

  • @ShallahJupiter7XL ye I agree there the UK can't really compare to the US when it comes to Hip Hop when you look at some of the names from the late 80's and the 90's (personally my favourite decade in music in general) But all music is inspired by what has gone before it really. People like to write lyrics and a lot of those people grew up listening to like wu-tang, dr octagon e.t.c. so there's obviously going to be some similarities in the music they produce

  • @06164676 roots manuva and skitz where my mind is at' is my favourite uk hip hop tune ever,, and phi-life etc is tight, but its not exactly 'illmatic', rakim or kool g rap late 80's shit, some premo shit or d.i.t.c shit etc etc.

  • @ShallahJupiter7XL Phi Life Cypher (started 1996) Fingathing (albeit instrumental) Roots Manuva the list goes on man you just gotta look....

  • @FUKDrumandBass i'm talking about the golden era of hip hop-you know? the era that is the BLUEPRINT OF HIP HOP FOR EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD. not hip pop' no more than your talking about 'brit pop'. Btw, all the genres you mention are heavily inspired by hip hop..but whatever, i'm a real head into the real shit since 1991-and i'm from the UK! and can say nothing in uk hip hop has ever touched classic shit from the US in the 90's.

  • whats the track by Def1, it isnt shot ,me. its not on here i bin searching for it for ages

  • if you wanna get technical and find out where hip hop really started, hip hop is basically rhyming, flowing and glueing lyrics together which started from england as poetry and became globally known by shakespere then evolved from there but who care where it started, UK and US are better than each other, US has more rappers because its alot bigger but UK are still good. judge individuals. and you idiots who think because you heard a few tracks uno the artist well you dont. especially us, go away

  • these videos are stupid for the simple fact that uk hip hop is, was and always will be hugely influenced by US hip hop (its creator).from the beats to samples to flows to deliverance-its all new york (apart from the accent but that doesnt make the music 'UK') it made me laugh throughout the 00's how uk heads were looking at uk rap cats like they were genius' not knowing the US created that kind of sound 10 years before, they only saw the US as having cats like 50 cent and disregarded its past.
