This tank houses: 1 Aequidens rivulatus ( stays hidden most of the time) 1 Cichlasoma octofasciatum 5 Archocentrus nigrofasciatus ( breeding pair included w/ fry) 1 Glyptoperichthys gibbiceps 2 Agamyxis pectinfrons

The plecos and catfish are never out ( except for at night). These fish were all purchasd at Kimz Pet Express in Princeton, WV. The Convicts are the most aggressive things in the tank and I am considering moving them to their own tank and splitting them up. You practically have to give away baby convicts. The adults usually sale for 2- 6 dollars a piece. Anyway, I've been really happy with the algae growth in this tank. The rippling effect it has is nice. Anyway, thanks for viewing and enjoy!

  • No, I don't. In the 8 months that

I've had this old tank, the pair has bred 9 times. My Spotted Doradids take care of them. They're not worth any money at the stores, so I just let the catfish take care of them. Some may say that's cruel, but I've got enough convicts in that tank ( which is currently in the process of being moved to a 75. )
