There's no question that I would (will)buy GC's solo stuff before I would ever buy Albarn's solo stuff and its because I dig GC's work post-Blur more musically. He's so phlegmatic - Graham - and Damon Albarn's such a tweeter. But in the end it's the music..and I just think Graham rocks it.(the fact that he absolutely shreds on the guitar doesn't hurt!)I'm sure he was quite tired of playing second banana to Damon after how many years and he's certainly proven himself, in my mind!
