My name is Larnell and I am a college sophomore who loves Spanish! I have taken Spanish for about 5 years, three years in High School and two years studying on my own. I currently live in Berrien springs Michigan where I attend Andrews University. After the 3 years in High School I still hadnt learned very much Spanish, the most I could say was Donde esta el tren? and El hombre lleva una camisa negra. It wasnt until after a mission trip to the beautiful country of Ecuador that I found that I loved the Spanish language, and soon after that I dedicated my nights and weekends to studying. It took me about 4 months to discover the method that worked best for me. I would like to help others learn how to speak Spanish, there are so many resources that are hidden, that can help the learner achieve the goal of fluency. My classes will help the student grasp a basic understanding of the structure of the Spanish language, and its pronunciation. I will also help the student improve their listening and reading skills. I think that it is also very important for the learner to remember that you are technically a baby when it comes to learning to speak Spanish. It takes repetition and actual use of the language to be able to achieve fluency. One thing to remember is that learning a new language can be fun, and it can help your mind stay young as well. So if you are an English speaker who is interested in learning Spanish for fun or perhaps you just need a little help with a Spanish class in school. Sign up for an introduction lesson (which is free by the way) and Ill help you get off to a great start learning the Spanish language!
