If you asked people what makes music an art form, they would most likely bring up the melody or the lyrics. But my approach to music as an art form is different. I use the musical notes to form an art piece in itself. I don't start out with an intentional design, I just create it using the music as a guide. The specific notes from the music piece are what determines how the design will form. To demonstrate this example, I have taken the musical notes from Beethoven's Symphony #5. I then synchronized these notes to the music, and the design grows as the song plays. I made this using Flash.

  • I like your idea, it is definitely a different type of art. But it is good to push art into new directions I believe.
