CEP President Dave Coles says the Union has launched a national campaign to opposed changes to rules governing foreign ownership of Canadian telecommunications companies.The federal government is currently considering a number of options, including an increase in foreign ownership above the current limit of 46% or even complete removal of ownership limits. Speaking to delegates at CEP's annual telecom locals conference in Montreal, Coles told the meeting that the union is committed to defending workers in thetelecommunications industry.
