This makes sense right? So then I go to the doctor because of my "skin problem" and get treated with the very samething that you said caused it int he first place? If mean the doctor do give me eyewear while he treats me with pulses of light that are from the UV spectrum that is the sun.

So shouldnt I get treated with darkness since the light is so bad for you?

Why not post that he is dead, cause it is very likely.

Great PSA! More people should be educated about this cancer. I didn't know what it was before I got diganosed and if I had I would have noticed and gotten checked sooner. Thank god it wasn't that far advanced.

The sun is good for you and necessary for optimum health. The sun prevents many types of cancer and strengthens the immune system. Tan sensibly and do not burn. An hour a day of direct summer sun while wearing a swim suit will provide you with all the vitamin D you need for optimum health. If you have fair skin, shorten that to 15 minutes a day.

This video is total horse manure! One person in the U.S. dying every hour adds up to 8760 people. The current U.S. population is 304,409,499. That comes out to .0000287 percent of the population getting melanoma a year or 3 in 100,000 people. That is extremely rare and many of those are elderly who didn't recognize early that the growth was cancer when it could have been removed safely. This is scare tactic bullshit put out by dermatologists and the tanning industry. Don't believe it.

this is truth. melanoma kills over 8000 people each year. i dont fully blame the sun... it could be genetics too... but it is real. and it sucks. there is NO TREATMENT for melanoma. NO chemotherapy works!! it is a beast of a disease.
from a stage 3 melanoma cancer patient.

It was good to see your video on Melanoma, a rare agreessive skin cancer. I do think all skin cancers and what parts of your body they can affect should be made known to the public.
After being diagnosed with a rare gynae cancer, also a skin cancer (Squamous Cell Carcinoma) I do think the public should be made aware of all "skin cancers".
Thanks for this educational video
