Edward, lovely clear lyric bass-baritone voice. Unfortunately your accompanist did not help you by setting a tempo that was a smidge too fast for your energy level. The melismas need to be dead on and crystal clear, and this was made impossible - from my perspective - because you felt forced to maintain a tempo that was too fast. I suspect that this would have been brilliant at a more reasonable pace. Still, you have a lovely voice and are an intelligent singer. Best wishes.
nope, he never hit it once. "...and languish in despair." is where the low E is. He did sing the F at 1:15 but he never sang an E in the whole piece. It's not such a big deal though.
I agree that he sounds more like a baritone and wow what a pianist!

well the pianist is doing terrible if he is not following the performer ..... its not about the piano. Last time I checked anyway. lol ;)

Hold off on the coloratura until you can actually sustain the runs... the sotto voce sounds rediculous!
