At least Pastor Wright's criticism is based on socio-political history and not blanket moral party lines... One blames 9-11 on God being upset at America for moral failings... the other blames 9-11 on the history of American settlement and later foreign policy.

A couple of differences come to mind.

1) I don't think any political contenders were attending the church of Falwell or Robertson.

2) Just because there are nut cases on the right, does not excuse nut cases on the left.

What matters is the judgment or discernment of those that follow them. Because of Obama's lack of experience,he told us to look at his judgment. 20yrs of anti-America, anti-"rich white people" class warfare rhetoric by choice is a judgment we can judge.

More people need to see this video. Imagine if Wright said that America "deserved" 9/11. Or that "we haven't begun to see what the terrorists can do." He didn't say anything near as bad.

Wright told the truth, except the AIDS thing. But a nearly half of black people believe some form of the govt AIDS conspiracy theory, like Will Smith, Bill Cosby, and Spike Lee, to name a few. In fact, Will Smith's movie, "I AM LEGEND" was loosely based on Dr. Horowitz's book "Emerging Viruses: AIDS & Ebola" that Rev Wright cited in making that claim. Look it up.
