Im 5'4(growing quick) and im looking for a board that is good for cruising quick turns and sliding. I was really liking the torpedo. My friend has he malakai and i like it its just a little to flexy and i would like a kicktail Thanks

@peacefreak411 the Torpedo is great for doing what you are looking to do, however, if you didn't like the flex of the Malakai, they are almost identical in flex. The Pintail series have a lot more stiffness to them, but they do not have kicktails

Hey Original Skateboards,

I'm about 6'2" and weigh around 160-170.

I live in San Diego, I surf, skim, and Skate (Not For Tricks just for getting around). So I really want to try out a Original because I've heard only good things.

Also I go up to the Sequoia National Forest a LOT and I want to Longboard a ton up there

This is what I want in my Board: Cruising, Flatland, carving, and a bit of bombing, and some slides

I was thinking of getting the path 37 with S8s. Would this be good for me?

@TheAegos Hey, great! You can't go wrong with the Apex 37 for what you want to do on a longboard: cruising, carving, sliding and some bombing. The Path 37 is no longer available for purchase. If you want a board similar to the Path 37, check out our Pintails! The Pintail 43 will be great for you!

I think that if original recommends apex 37 to pretty much everyone, then it's one of teh greatest boards ever <3
