In Paris, Gigli is arguing with his manager -- in both Italian and German. He won't sing on the anniversary of his wife's death. But eventually he does ...
i love gigli. he tried to bridge the gap between the art music audience and the general public. it is a shame he did not succeed. i find it interesting that everyone is so glad that he is preserved on film and complimenting his acting while in the same breath most will lambaste lanza, whose voice was better, for doing the same. when are the "know-it-alls" going to finally let go of their high-handed treatment of lanza?
Wonderfull!!!!, it is great to see Gigli performing very well as an actor...in the other hand, with that wonderful angel voice that will resound for ever in our hearts...Que lindo!!!!BRAVOOO!!!
Thanks to film, we are able to see and hear the amazing Gigli. This is as sweet, sublime and mesmerizing a lyric tenor as was ever recorded. A great rendition of the most achingly romantic aria in opera: bravo, Beniamino
Great voice and performance!

What a beautiful voice. I always compare to the Great One. Not bad at all. In fact, my now second favorite for Che Gelida Manina.
