Actually, the Brits are not arguing over languages. We have come to understand the richness of diversity. In some schools there are more than 30 home languages spoken by the students. The home languages of the British Isles, are beginning to be valued. Nobody is arguing against learning a different language.

I agree but it is not the dutch that seak four languages. They even have a hard time speaking english. If you want multilinguists you have a much better chance in finding them in Belgium or Switzerland. In Belgium we speak dutch, french and german. Most of us know english or spanish too. And we have access to dutch weed too ;-)
