First time I've caught this one. Big shout out to Hostog for advising on morning monitoring and the time and frequencies. We've actually recorded the same broadcast I believe - 0900z 18/12/09 - 6877 khz USB.

Sorry for the poor quality audio.

The S11 stations (as the Enigma monitoring group term them) are reputedly Eastern European in origin, with Poland the most popular theory for a source country (although some believe a group of countries may use the system). S11a is often heard broadcasting null messages 'nnn/00' where 'nnn' is some three digit identification number, and '/' is pronounced 'cherta'. Here, the station is in the middle of an actual message. It might also be plain S11 (where the '/' is given the Polish word 'kreska') or S11a - I'm not sure.

Otherwise, I believe the language used throughout is Polish.

As ever, for those confused about what all this is about, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numbers_station

---

Additional: At the end of the broadcast (not on this video), the station signs off with 'Koniec' - which is so damn cool, as I've been hunting for my own 'Conet' in the wild ever since listening to the Conet Project.
