Was gonna be the Empress for a family theme night (think it was people from movies) but as a Chatterbox, I couldn't handle it! ZLOVED this movie as a kid.... drove sister nuts wanting to rent it every time we went to video store

This scene should be one the the best ever. I remember this part clearly when I watched it in the late 80's (I was around 8 at the time). A movie has never described clearer the meaning of reading a book. That you place yourself as one of the characters and the book comes alive. This movie could inspire your kids to love books. It did for me.

LOVE IT!!! At 3:38, as a kid, my mind was officially blown! lol Today, this scene kind of reminds me of Inception, like a story within a story, within a story. As a child, I thought, could someone be reading MY story right now?! Such an awesome movie for the imagination...
