  • How many songs do you know? I saw the 3 posted here, but just curious how many you've been able to memorize "one note at a time"

  • Hi Anita,

I probably know 20 songs or so. One of the songs I posted was from a concert/fund-raiser I did, which consisted of 14 songs... about and hour total.

    Doug :-)

  • if you cant play by ear or read music how did you learn to play ?

  • memorized one note at a time. :-)

  • So if you memorized it one note at a time then you have had to listen to the note and then figure it out. Wouldnt that mean that you can play by ear?

  • I can read the music enough to find a note and then count up or down to find the other ones. :-)

  • Im not impressed by the speed. You most likely play that fast because you can't keep a tempo or a rythmic beat to the song, so you play 100 miles an hour to make something that you weren't sure how to play somewhat amazing. And its not incredibly shocking to completely butcher a classic song such as this.

  • scott joplin would be roling around in his grave right now!!!
