Uh, I assume you mean a diagonal super jump?

For that, just do the normal charge up and duck, hold 'R' (the aim diagonal up button) and jump.

This series of videos is incredible.

I notice you keep turning your hi-jump boots on and off at different points. What is the advantage to doing that?

Some longer jumps miss the ceiling, so you don't get slowed down. This is especially useful over the spikes when getting the wave beam.

Red Scarlet would've done it all faster if the aim up/down repeated switching were performed whenever Samus is running.

maridia is to complexed cause its pretty large and easy to get confused in even with the map u'll still get confused. when i was a kid i was running around aimlessly for the springball and draygon boss fight for like 2 1/2 hrs lmao :P

I had watched the previous RS speed run of like 57 minutes or whatever it was, and this one... the path is so different than I remember. No grappling hook yet! Jeeze!
