  • I am surprised to hear that anyone thinks his moves were immature and lacked flow...at any point in this performance. By the way, I never understood why the judges raved about Orser's artistry (over Boitano's, for instance) when he often looked like he was directing traffic.

  • @nondescriptnyc I disagree, the marks were excellent and completely fair for the performance. Some of the moves in the beginning were a bit immature and didnt make the program flow well. Those marks were high and he wasnt waiting his turn, but rather he was a level below Boitano, Orser, and Bowman at that time

  • very well skated program!!!!

  • In retrospect, it is hard to imagine judges not giving him wildly high presentation marks for such a sophisticated performance! He was still young, so I guess he had to wait for his turn...
