Are people trying to force psychiatry on you? Family members such as parents can often insist someone is mentally ill and pressure them into treatment or have them committed to a mental hospital against their will.

They also aim politically to nivellate people, to make, mold them into a specific character type demanded by a consumerist society. Once you are "too something", once you do not think, behave, act and wish as the majority you are a threat, a politico-social threat; so they will try to chnage you, make you a zombie or just lock you out of society.
Its so sad that people so often use the label, "you`re mad" or the phrase "you need professional help" all these just reinforce the process above.

My stoic and somber parents always thought I had a "disorder". My art, my theater involvement, they always said I was too expressive. I'm 36 and they still whisper about when I'll "grow up". I finally cut them off when they suggested that my children may also be insane because they are boys, but love drama club, singing, etc.
I have not spoken to them in a year and I don't plan to ever speak to them again. We are moving from Alabama to Chicago to escape the possibility of future contact.

Psychiatry is an atrocity, and putting someone in a "mental hospital" "institution" or "ward" is just as atrociously disgusting as the death camps like auchwitz.
Let's lock all Psychiatrists, orderlies, authorities/law enforcement, doctors/"professionals", and anyone who assists in detaining someone for "mental" reasons and is not a physical danger to OTHER people, in concentration/death camps and see how they like having their freedom taken away and being deemed "diseased and inferior".

You don't. You may simply not want to not identify with whatever you 'think' you have in order to embrace your humanity's glorified uniqueness.

with my dad, dumped and left to solve it with my dad by my mum and have now spent two years here, with my problems with certain people, deciding to lock myself in a room so i dont see them, and having to think about going into hospital myself as my mum/dad will not let me a place in athens (calling me unstable to do so) which i feel would help me and allow me to get over certain people and close to old friends and my parents. At the time this was discussed i was living with my mum anyway.

I would preffer to go back to athens and remain far away from the island and whoever it is i feel bothers me. Because at this stage despite treatment i just feel it doesnt stop and i let it in and my mum and dad (who i am told dont live here in this house anyway) are stuck wondering what there doing with me, and listening to my complaints over and over again. I really wish i had not come to this island and had been allowed a place of my own in athens rather than being forced to come here

I try to speak about it, because i feel them real, not really there, and disturbing my life to the point of talking about it to company and making me feel uncomfortable whilst i walk around town. So i just want to leave the island. My mum and dad will not help me though, so getting a free ship ticket to go to athens would just have me on the streets. I dont want that. I need money and a place to stay. despite at this stage depending on my parents for years it seems they will not help with this.

I continue to see them, but i dont speak about it as much as i used to after stopping my first treatment. I dont shout at things that arent there LEACE ME ALONE. I do remeber this and how it is possible my mum could have heard me. However she insists this made me unwell as these people were not there. Whilst being on treatment my mum told me this made me unwell. Today because of certain things i am forced to think things were there. In whatever way and with whatever history.
