Now i know the quality and choice of the recordings in this book without even having to buy it.

Such books and lists are a waste of time...taste in art.music in totally subjective

I read the book. I didn't like the entry on Berg's Wozzeck (an opera that I like), because from the way it was written, he obviously really didn't like it, yet he recommended it anyway.

Sounds neat but I'm getting tired of all these books/lists with "before you die" in the title.
