It was really fun how this video came about! We had a subscriber request a Lauren Conrad hair & makeup tutorial for her to do for an upcoming wedding. Since she was local, we decided to hook up and do the look on her.

Then we got a newsletter from Stylehaul, announcing a contest for tie-dye hair extensions. We loved the idea, and thought it was perfect, since we were already going to do a Lauren Conrad look! I was wondering how you would do this a brown extensions??

@irelandbabez09 it should work well and is less likely to stain the hair, and depending on how dark they are, you may need lighter colors in order to make the color show. xo

i dont get it, if you want dyed extensions then why dont you use a real hair dye and an actual tint brush instead of a toothbrush?

@VampireSceneKidz You could, but if you want to use the extensions with different colors or no color, it would be damaging to the hair to use a regular tint. This way you don't have the commitment. Also, you could use a tint brush, but they work better for large panels of hair and overall coloring. For small sections-like we show in this vid, a toothbrush actually works better as it grabs hold of the hair and you get a better coating (which is especially important with a temporary tint).

@xoitsjessicaa yes it will. you'll get the best results with the light & bright colors in the palette, but they also have a neon palette that would work well too! xox
