13/14 - A few years ago a portable jukebox was discovered which belonged to John Lennon in the 1960s. The jukebox conntained a tracklist of 40 records - soul, R&B and Rock 'n' Roll - written in Lennon's own handwriting. These are the songs which shaped his musical education and they reveal many of the original sources of inspiration for his later songwriting.

  • Where can I watch this documentary?

  • Anybody know what else was on the list?

  • Lennon is probably right about Dylan not beeing that political, Dylan was (is) more a sort of a straight on observer, with no posibility of "painting reality", he sees things as they are, if it makes any sence. And he has a strange talent for describing all sorts of feelings - love, hate, anger, joy, restless and so on.

But Dylan is a true genious when it comes to lyrics, no question, John Lennon ought to know that.

  • Ha Ha Ha...seems your..er ideas are a little at odds with your hero's sunCREAM.

  • That's your interpritation.
