I hope that a movie is never made from the riftwar seris. His books are a taste of magic beyond anything that will ever be written, his books have an esencess that could never be able captured in a film.

mr feist its time for a new PC game. Return and betrayal of krondors were brilliant and ahead of their time with a great story told. I wish to feel again what these gems made me feel the first time i installed and played them.

I was SO afraid of Murmandamus and the Moredhel when I read "The Rift Wars" as a teen. Creating this fictional world inside my head kept me from becoming an airheaded teen who doesn't reflect upon it's society and behavior. I'd like to thank you Raymond if you ever read this, you and your characters raised me to an extent where my parents couldn't.
PS "Moredhel" sounds awesome in swedish since HEL is the godess of death in our old religion and "Mord" is murder, the connection makes it creepy!

Spoiler, spoiler, spoiler if you haven't read "A Kingdom Besieged" then don't read the rest of this sentence!
OMG Draken-Korin is back, sorry for the spoiler! Love you Mr Feist for bringing back Ashen-Shugar's main antagonist!
Miranda and Nakor return as well, I miss Nakor and am glad he is back!

I agree! I would love to see the riftwar saga on the big screen!
My favourite series of books of all time, I have read them all many times......

@coolman784 the riftwar books would be the easiest to direct a Trilogy of it. Another "Lord of the Rings" would be great, since the last real good fantasy movie was another 10 - 7 years ago.

@Centration I hope someone will do a good movie about his books. I think they could very good be showed in a movie because of Feists writting style.
-
@luke182 yes, i fear that too, although that if peter jackson or steven spielberg would direct it, it might be a good movie, no? i agree with you anyway, but i'm confident that they could make a good film about this too.

@dixon97a If someone was to make a movie of the riftwar books, i would be worried that they would try and cram too many books into one film and fail to capture the thrill and imagination that feist has created. I think if it was to be done it would have to be created on a magnitude and budget that has never been seen before, or else it would risk becoming another tacky film about magic. Would also need the right director who would use feist's readers as the target audience for the film
Love his books and seems like a nice fella, when are the movies gonna start rolling out?????
