  • sorry i havent been on to responds guys so I'll answer some questions, Im about 5'11'' tall, yes i had to cut the wires to route them through the bars and I spliced them back together under the tank(make sure to stagger your cuts so there isnt a big bulk of splices in one place and heat shrink them also) and no the brake line was not yet installed in this video, but i will show it in the next video when i chop the rear struts and fender

  • i think I'm getting those bars for my bike do you have risers? also how long of a brake line do you need. And i like the look of no wires how did you do that?

  • @motorx1266 I used the stock risers, not exactly sure how long of a brake line is needed because i used the one that came with the Burley Brand kit, if i were you, i would simply just measure the length from brake fluid resivour to the brake itself and then find out what sizes you can order. If its a little long its ok. With wiring I had to first mock up the controls to see where the wires needed to enter the bars, then drill them at top and bottom and use a string and weight to pull them through

  • Those bars look AWESOME!! I really like how it turned out. great job. I noticed you had highway/forward pegs. Where did you get them?

  • @shandapimp thanks for the comment, I actually made my highway pegs out of round bar and flat stock i got from home depot
