There. I just saved you the time of having to watch Prof. Brummett's pieces.

@FlameOfOrion Beautiful words. You put it so succinctly, yet passionately.

Wow, listening to the theist trying to pass off something such as low-carb advocates as being the same as religious fundamentalists. That's just so sad.

ya know whats funny, it used to be theists debating theists on which superstition was right. now its theists debating atheists. the theists all use the same defense to defend their "truths"lol. this is the hardest time for these guys to defend their faith. god of the gaps is bigger than ever. theyre getting backed up in a shrinking corner. it seems the "cause" of the universe is their strongest argument now. whos to say its a god? whos god? good luck theists, youre gonna need it!!! lmao

"that which can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence"--the hitch
"absense of evidence is evidense of absense"--the hitch

@geeklord1 grain of salt?? the whole shaker!!
Glad to see "good" Christians rejoice in the death of a man who rose up and challenged their beliefs. And they wonder why people take their "loving" stance with a grain of salt

I am going to echo another comment I've seen by saying this is incredibly hard to watch. The loss of Hitchens is one I feel as deeply as I would a dear friend, and hearing his voice so hoarse and tired despite the fact that his fighting spirit is just as great as it's ever been and his warmth too as genuine and admirable as it's ever been, is incredibly saddening. What a beautiful mind, and human being.
