It is funny the Irish were neutral in WW2, but when they move to the USA they get big mouths

I met IRISH people who were also saying SHIT about America when I lived abroad and and I told the ASS, well then why do the Irish go to America, if it is so bad?

agree, the way i see it is by the events which could never have taken place without USA mainly no lend lease = not enough tanks for USSR to launch offensive after offensive. no daylight bombing of german cities. no invasion of italy. no normandy invasion. UK couldnt reach romania to bomb it in force.

without USA germany may have convinced Japan to strike at USSR, it would be a complete role reversal, USSR fighting a war on 2 fronts instead of germany. would have spelled the end of the USSR

@cuttt Debatable, but I find myself on your side of the debate. If USA was not involved in WWII, and had Germany been making good strategic decisions then I believe they indeed would have won.

@vaahtobileet I mean, German attack would have no chances of even getting inside Russia without the luck factor, which is concentration of russians WITHOUT ability to fight (yet) it's like... A guy tries to punch you very, very hard - and Hitler got lucky and attacked right before the other guy did (when his defence was the weakest possible defence.)

if hitler didn't attack the soviet union and set his 2 milion troops on boats to the uk he had defeat the uk and he could later attack the soviet union he had win the war
