  • @21Sarabi Even thought I'm not a "Bo-rail" fan at all, and I wasn't that big of a fan of Mind that Bird, I wish him all the best and a very happy and long retirement.

  • @gotch09 Hopefully it won't be that way. They could use him maybe as a lead pony, exercise horse with the horses racing, maybe retirement on a farm until he gets old?

  • Even though I'm not a MTB fan, I wish him a long, happy and productive life! I just don't want to see him "put down" because he's a gelding, and he's too old or broke down to race any more. He made his owners a good living after all, and he deserves a good retirement.

  • no no not at all. you are correct about his career he will keep racing longer than most other horses that are good like summer bird and musket man, but it doesnt mean the glue factory. he is loved wat too much. maybe chip wolley will make him his stable pony like funny cide was for barclay tag. as far as complete reitrement maybe the kentucky horse park in lexington

  • I didn't really care that much for MTB, I just didn't think he was all that great, but the problem I have is this: this horse is a gelding. So he has to race to make money, beings he can't be put to stud. So what happens if he comes up lame, or just gets too damn old to run? Is it to the glue factory for him?????

  • The word you are looking for is VARIANT. You need the lessons. The TRACK has to be running a certain way for any of this to work. That's why you don't just play a race at track here or there. To MAKE MONEY you have to know what the track is running. There's a few books by ANDREW BEYER,read,u need em. His knowledge and my actually being around a real racetrack really separate us. Stick to what you see on TVG. You aren't worth my time anymore.

  • Bit of a drive...with a broken leg to boot...WOW!

  • Secretariat was a freak of nature, beyond Micheal Jordan, physically abnormal. Since you offer lessons you must know what I mean. What do slow fractions do for a horse that likes to come from off the pace? Is it easier for a horse to run away with slow fracs? You said you give free lessons.

  • i want Mr Woolly to know that his attitude is apreciated i like the part where he says

"no matter the weather he's gotta run." the sport needs more people like him and jess jackson and less ones like john sherrif and mike laverone. i if you think your horse is the best prove it. beat the best. if not just shut up. i have grown to like MTB he definatly belongs.

  • I read that the horse was unmanageable as a yearling. If Mine That Bird had not been gelded, it's likely that he would not have turned out to be the race horse that he is.
