V.I.O POV.HD Test - Kawasaki ER-6F / Ninja 650

Quick test run of a helmet mounted camera (V.I.O POV.HD), sound is a little noisy due to lack of wind jammer on the mic, next test will be with a mic in the helmet to cut down on wind and also allow video blogging.
Notice the learner moped driver burn me at the start, OH THE SHAME OF IT!

You have a really nice collection of videos, i find them really interesting! Im thinking of getting a pov but the quality seems a bit poor for a £500 camera, how do you rate it overall?

@Ross22 4 out of 5 (you can get it for about 400 now), if you look at the latest uploads they are better quality, the first few I did I didn't understand encoding etc so I messed up the quality a bit. In even light its an excellent camera but sadly in rapidly change light situations it does suffer badly. Others worth a look at are the GoPro range, driftHD and the contor HD/GPS.

@Trotters222 True but that was intentional, filtering and lane splitting is legal as long as its done safely :)

What year is your ER-6F mate? This is on a list of a few I'm looking at (ER-6F, SV650S, GSX650F and CBR600F) and some of the other videos the twin sounds too agricultural, but on both of yours it sounds fine.

@YarekBalear Its a 2010 version, AFAIK the exhause system has not change that much for a good few years. And I know what you mean when you say 'agricultural'. At med/high revs it cansound that way, all in all though it sound plenty meaty without sounding like a screaching high end sports bike or a over the top loud Harley.

@parsac2007 My advice try a CBT its a one day course on a 125 half day off the road thenhalf day on the road. You soon know if you want it or not. And a bigger bike I find is much easier to ride. Remember 0% finance deals at the moment :D
