Really good video for the Echobelly single King Of The Kerb. debbie rocked in this clip and I used a stencil of her from some of teh KOTK artwork for one of my fanzine covers. She was one of instantly identifiable guitarists with a completely unique style. She was originally drafted into the band for live sets after Glenn fell off a post box while gassedd and broke his wrist. Glenn recovered quicker than expected but Debs fitted so well she got kept on, but only as a session musician and not as a fully contracted "member" of the band which was later to cause her to leave the the band altogether.

  • Pure power !! where is she?

  • Still there. They have a new album's worth of material but looks like it will be released as Calm Of Zero which is Sonya and Glenn.

  • yeah me too, but i'll have to divorce Louise Wener first!

  • NME described her as the pixie of Britpop. I remember having a crush on Louise Wener from sleeper. Think I now prefer Sonya.
