  • Thanks again for posting this video. Where in section 4,row FF were you videoing this ? (towards left as facing stage (seat 44 farthest L) or towards right (seat 26 farthest R)? Around holidays, Fogerty is releasing the 6-24-08 stop at London's Royal Albert Hall of this '08 tour on CD/DVD. He leads off with "Comin' Down The Road."

  • we were towards the right.......i think we had seats 26-28

  • Written by John mid 70's after CCR 10-72breakup, but never released. First played: at Grammy's by John 3-08, in concert in Helsinki on 5-26-08; and at all stops in Europe and Canada since. Played in US in CT concert 2 days before this video'd Bethlehem, PA concert on the last night of Musikfest. On this video I can see my wife, 6 y/o boy, and self. It's 50's R & R like Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis with Fogerty's own flair, and was one of the highlights of the 2-hr, 26 - song show.

  • thank u

  • You're very welcome. I have to leave home urgently, but before I go, can you tell us where your seats were, while you video'd this? We were in the 13th row left of center stage as you looked at John. Seats M 42-44. My son wants to try and locate us better on your video. We believe you were behind us but could be wrong. When I return in several hours, I'll give you some more info on that song and claims it has been possibly released before. Thanks for your reply.

  • we were in the last row of section 4

  • I'd like to correct some slightly misleading information here.

This is not an unreleased song. And it was released in 1973, not 1974. The B side is the saxophone instrumental "Ricochet". anyway, these were never put on an album, and have never been officially released on an LP or on CD. The CDTR single was John's first release with his own name. in 1973 he had already released the Blue Ridge Rangers album and a single with the BRR name, "You Don't Owe Me"/"Back In the Hills".

  • I still have the original 45 and I remember when I first heard it,It blew me away then and still does.

  • Great!!!! Great!!! Great!!!!!!

  • great sound quality!

  • Thanks for that info. Another person had mentioned that she had that 45, but she had also mentioned some incorrect stuff that made me wonder. My appologies to her.

  • This song was released on a 45 single by Fantasy Records in 1974. The sound quality was sub-par but the song ROCKS!

  • You had good seats. Thanks for the info. Hope you enjoyed the concert as much as we did.
