I think the DM5 is a GREAT module and PERFECT for playing gigs!! Especially Given the price!!

@nnero0 I'm playing double bass in rather fast stuff (like some older Dark Tranquility or Bloodbath), but in DM6. I would say it works well however I do that for hobby only - not with real band.

How good is the bass drum trigger on this thing? I play death metal so it's pretty important for me that it can handle really fast stuff.

@Kobe8No8Means8No This thing is cheap. So yeah its a toy. But if you compare this to Yamahas chapest DTXplorer things are different then.

These are cheaper than YAMAHA DTXPLORER and will outperform yamaha by far! Rolands kit is twice as much. So this is a clear winner in whatever situation.

I wish these spoilt braggers would shut up about their superior Roland kits. Obviously they will sound better being a couple of grand more, so why even bother mentioning it!
