John Peel was responsible for most of the music I listen to. I remember listening to his Radio London programme "The Perfumed Garden" on my trannie back in the late 60s. The first track I ever remember hearing to was "Sweet Lorraine" from the album "Electric Music for the Mind and Body" by Country Joe and the Fish. I was totally blown away. John was THE man for to turn to if you wanted to listen to something different and he is sadly missed. RIP.
