@yeungjedi I really beg to differ at this point. Lets see Trinidad and Tobago try take on Brazil and Spain like the USA did.

@soccersprint yes, but we managed to beat Trinidad and Tobago 3-0 twice. in the second and third rounds of qualifying, then we beat them at home, but the last one was after you posted this comment. Either way, all the people saying no excuses need to use real logic. Not having your best players affects the team, despite what people want to believe.

@E1717iE well... It's not even that. The USA's best players( Donovan, Dempsey, Ching, Bocanegra, Onyewu, Cherundolo, Howard) were not there because the USA had already gotten through to the next round of Qualifying.

No excuses. usa lost but its not like there not gana play agein. we all no if usa plays in their home field. trinidad would get killed. agree or disagree.

I find that for so many years we should have been beating the USA which isn't really much of a good team,I think honestly we were just farting around we should always be beating a weak team like the USA.

considering that T&T's best players are all over 30 yrs with the two goal scores in the victory over usa being 37 and 40 years old...I think the usa should be embarassed even if it was a so called "second squad" . Also consider that the team that lost to the usa in the first round was Trinidad's rookie team, which did not include Dwight Yorke, Russel Latapy, Dennis Lawrence, Chris Birchall, Avery John and Stern John. There were no excuses from Trini in that case..so accept your loss gracefully

T&T's defense was very shaky in this game. The marking and commitment to win the ball and clear danger was not there.....lots of ball watching especially from the rookies. It was a good victory though

What a game!!! I felt just as proud as when T&T won against Mexico in Oct 2005. Nice to see Latapy still doing wonders, I can never get enough of him.
