Per my request, Mr. Ake recorded this oral history which has been set to music and images as a tribute to him and to all the military veterans of World War II. Comments are welcome and very much appreciated.

Clearly a wonderful and fascinating account of the war. Accurate and therefore mesmerizing. But the sound is bad and I can't understand half of what the old guy is saying. Redo the sound track and you might be able to get it on TV.
