*SPOILERS*
The end 'fight' in Portal, finishing before the credits start.
See the 'Portal - Credits Song' video in the video responses for the final bit.

Enjoy!

Notes:
Yep this was recorded/uploaded quickly after Portal was released. Took 2 hours to finish and I started as soon as Valve unlocked it at 8AM BST. There's immense replayability and unlockables afterwards though, so don't let that hinder your opinion on the game. It's a fantastic, engaging and well executed game.

I deliberately go slower/wait around/play with the eyeballs because the of extra dialogue that's said. I still went faster than i'd have liked though, but that's because of knowing YouTube's size/time restrictions, so apologies for missing out some of the extra dialogue.

  • One thing I've noticed about these walkthroughs: Everyone uses the same method for getting rid of the cores. Everyone opens a pair of portals between the control cabin and the incinerator, then opens the incinerator, rushes through the portals, and throws the spheres into the incinerator. Am I the only person who's thought to create a portal over the incinerator, run to the control button, open the incinerator, then project the second portal under the sphere to simply drop it in?

  • @sasnine11 that's not necessary. who are you to judge?

  • @oskarpepryk no, the blue core is the intelligence core. wheatley isn't in portal 1 at all. C:

  • Interesting how in the walkthroughs that I've watched, people place portals for the rockets to shoot out of on the walls. I've always placed the portals under GLaDOS to knock the spheres off.

  • @LadyDeirdre That's what I did too.

  • @jvk9713 she doesn't need her cores to survive. They were put there by her creators to keep her "in check". As for movement she was made back in the 60's if you watch in Portal 2's timeline. So all this technology being how it is was a breakthrough enough. They weren't too concerned about how it moved or anything like that. And my guess on the "GLaDOS was moved to her chamber" well maybe the bot that retrieved you in the end of the game also retrieved her...Make sense?

  • @Majinpimin it's apart of a different game that's semi-linked to this one. It's basicly another science center that steals all of portal's ideas.

  • the cake is DEFINITELY a lie

  • um how did you break GlaDos's heart?

  • 2:02,black mesa?
