My first attempt at filming Friday Night Gunfights @ Range 37 in Bunnlevel, NC. Typically my order in the shooting is that I shoot in low light/no light but this night I arrived early enough that I was able to be one of the initial shooters and was able to shoot while it was still light outside. Anyway, FNG is a single-event course which is a shoot house that is reconfigurable with different scenarios for each match and feature rooms with furniture and good "hiding spaces" for combatant targets. Any weapon and any caliber is acceptable...this evening I was shooting my Colt 6450 9mm carbine with my Browning Buckmark (suppressed) as my secondary. I affixed a camera to my hearing protection so that I could actually get some footage as it's impossible for someone to do the filming. Unfortunately my camera has a bad lag time for focusing so parts of the footage is fuzzy...but you should be able to get the idea. It was very fun and this is how I spend 2 Friday nights a month. Hopefully next match I'll get better footage and get used to my camera rig.
That looks crazy fun.
