I was taking to Derek a few years ago after a concert in Dublin, he came over and sat with us for 15 minutes(a Gentleman) I asked him why he left the band, His answer was, The other 3 members wanted to move on and sing about peace and forget about the troubles, Which he did not want to, As you know Derek always tells the story of the song before they sing it, the other 3 members did not want this anymore...
Why did they split? its like like bread without butter, they need each other.

Solo Carreers, old age and now death has kept them apart!... Derek will be back in November to Quinn and Tuite's in Grand Rapids with even more new members, playing all of the great Wolfe Tone Tunes!

This is not the Wolfe Tones

It wasn't advertised as such... it is, however, Derek Warfield, one of the founding members of the Wolfe Tones with his newwest band!
