@Roy00010 From what I've heard, the first two seasons and the recent stuff is the worst. Seasons 3 to whenever they started sucking again is when they're comedy gold.

I've seen a couple of the earliest episodes, and yes, they do suck. I guess at some point Groening turned it around and made the simpsons into the iconic comedy gold it was up until after the movie.

Admittedly, the first two are equally hilarious at their highest points, but the Simpsons early episodes were subpar.
