Part 2 of how to make a multi purpose 3 point linkage fork. Featuring some serious engineering on my Colchester Bantam 1600 lathe. This implement was completely free apart from a few consumables and a tin of John Deere Green.

  • nice job there.when will we see them on donedeal :-)

  • @MrBfg1978 When ever some engineering company buys the patent rights!!

  • how many do you rekon you could make in a day if you had all the parts you needed?

this is a realy good piece of kit you sould start making more of them and sell them.

  • @MrJohndeeredave Suppose if your were set up for making them with all new materials, and proper jigs for cutting and welding you could make about 5 a day. Most of my time was spent cleaning and measuring and messing around on the lathe setting stuff up. They would probably end up quite expensive if you had to buy all the parts.
